The Stimulus Check Drag: Keep Your Info CURRENT

The stimulus check has been a helpful bit of income admit the COVID-19 pandemic. But waiting for it, is a drag. While some folks set up direct deposit, others may have accounts that were closed and they didn’t update their information before the November 2020 deadline and are eating crow because of it. I’m in the last category. The election was at the forefront of November events in the US and it felt like congress was just going back and forth to the point the stimulus check seemed like it may not even happen. Lesson: update your information constantly no matter what is going on! The Benefits of Info Updates:

  • You’re Prepared for Anything!

  • You STAY in the LOOP

  • You are Aware of site changes, policy updates, alternative methods etc.

  • You make the job of those who serve you EASIER by being reachable (That is Huge)

Much of the stimulus check debacle comes due to changes of residential addresses and financial address i.e. different bank, card, check vs direct etc. If you want something ASAP?
